Huma Bhabha is a sculptor known for visceral, figurative sculptures made from found materials. Born in Karachi in 1962, she lives and works in Poughkeepsie, New York, and has exhibited internationally at major institutions including the Whitney Biennial and MoMA PS1. Her work reinvents human form through grotesque, hybrid figures that draw on diverse art-historical and cultural references. Shanay Jhaveri is the Head of Visual Arts at the Barbican in London. Dan Nadel is the Steven and Ann Ames Curator of Drawings and Prints at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Danielle Shang is a Los Angeles-based writer, curator, and art historian. Jason Schmidt is a photographer based in New York.
