Peter Kenny, a retired teacher living in Brisbane, owns one the most impressive Tolkien book and memorabilia collection in Australia. He shares his knowledge on Tolkien and Middle-earth with children and adults and gives presentations and organises events with schools, libraries, conventions and festivals. Since Peter's retirement he writes stories, verses and poems concerning the adventures of his 'uncle' Fortinbras Proudfoot recorded in a land far away which yet seems very familiar to us. Fortinbras tells about the small folk, dragons, heroes and wizards. Peter is one of the founders of The Brisbane Tolkien Fellowship, which has a charter to raise funds for charity initiatives aiding children in foster care.
