»Logistics and Warfare in the Age of Frederick >the Great<« This publication examines how the military logistics of mid-18th century Europe influenced the operations, the armies, their combat effectiveness on the battlefield, and the decision-making of their commanders. The historiography, the key elements of the 18th century military logistics, and the distribution of the relevant resources are laid out in the first three chapters of the book, whereas its main part focuses on the mobilization and effectiveness of those resources during the campaigns of 1757.
