William Olaf Stapledon (1886-1950)-who wrote as Olaf Stapledon-was a British philosopher and author of science fiction. In 2014, he was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame. This collection three of his classic fantasy stories: "The Flames," "Death into Life," and "Old Man in New World."
