Advances in Mechanical Design

This book collects selected papers from the 2025 International Conference on Mechanical Design (ICMD 2025), Hangzhou, China. It focuses on innovation, and brings the community of researchers in the fields of mechanical design together. It exchanges and discusses the most recent investigations, challenging problems and new trends and encourages the wider implementation of advanced design technologies and tools in the world, particularly throughout China. The theme of ICMD 2025 is "Promoting New Quality Productivity through innovative design" and this conference is expected to provide an excellent forum for cross-fertilization of ideas so that more general, intelligent, robust and computationally economical mechanical design methods are created for multi-disciplinary applications.
