Cold Bayou

Benjamin January has reason to regret agreeing to perform at the wedding of wealthy landowner Veryl St-Chinian to an Irish barmaid fifty years his junior. On the isolated plantation of Cold Bayou where the ceremony is to take place, a body is discovered in the woods behind the dower house - and January himself is accused of the crime.
