Loving Two Is Hard to Do

It's not like I went looking for a summer romance. It just sort of happened. Dave was handsome, smart, and he was planning to be a lawyer. I couldn't help but compare him to Lenny. As charming and dynamic as Lenny was, he had quit school and always seemed to be getting into trouble. When Dave and I were together, everything was easy. No fights, no tears... At least, that's how it seemed when we were working together that summer. But then it was over and I was back in the city...and so was Lenny. The powerful feelings between us hadn't faded, and wasn't about to settle for a part-time girlfriend. How would I ever choose between them?
