Moonfire

The discovery of a partially decomposed human female on a wilderness mountain trail sets off a series of deadly events when it is suspected that she may not be completely human. When a bootleg thumb drive containing photographs of the victim fall into sheriff Seth Ferguson's hands, he and his girlfriend, Lilly Neptune are thrust headlong into a lethal game of cat and mouse. At a rural New Hampshire home, the attempted assassination of a mysterious young woman results in the deaths of seven members of an ultra-secret U.S. Government shadow group. Meanwhile, at a secret government research facility north of Arrowhead Lake, experiments on an ancient extraterrestrial object are unraveling everything humans thought they knew about the makeup of the universe.
