Daemons, along with many other supernatural and paranormal beings, live among us in hiding, and they have existed here well before humans even graced this realm. Agony Mouringstar was once a prodigal daemon of supreme power, and now Agony is barely alive. Having followed a siren song to the postcard picturesque town of Montague Heights, Agony finds the very beings that abandoned him to his painful fate 13,000 years ago. Faced with a journey unlike any other, Agony struggles to find peace and discover who he really is, as the beings that once left Agony behind to wither now desperately seek for him to grow. Things are lost and found, hearts are broken and repaired, and Agony must decide if he will allow himself the greatest blessing one can have: a family.
