One Soldier's Story

From the small town in southern Minnesota where he had grown up, he was sent around the world to a place called the Philippines. It was World War 2, and Jacob Wesley Zimmerli was part of the US Army. Specifically, he was a member of the 96th Infantry, a division called The Deadeyes. This is the story of his days in service to his country, from enlistment until he was home again.
