I am Rukeeya Said, I been born in Kabul, Afghanistan on winter 1976. I start writing at the age of fourteen. I left with my family after the war in Afghanistan, to Saudi Arabia, and there I studied until highschool, and after that I came to the Netherlands with some of my family, and I have been living here since May 1995. I present my book to everyone who experienced war in their lives.

A word about my book In the midst of my thoughts of death and war, that accompanied me all my life, I grabbed a pen and wrote... about the difficult life it was, where there was the writing that gave me hope in my sad life, and therefore I devoted my life to writing, it was my only hope and dream for a better tomorrow. This book that I wrote played in my mind for the last five years, so I finally decide to write about it, about my thoughts... my pains... and about my nightmares that woke me up from sleep every night.
