Reise in den Orient

In this volume of his Reise in den Orient (1846) Tischendorf largely focuses on the Christian history that relates to Israel. He writes about Jesus' crucifixion and Golgotha's significance and gives a historical account of Jerusalem as the centre of all religions. Tischendorf also ponders the immediate future of Jerusalem.
